Dr. Linda Keway joined the Counselor Education faculty of Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 2017. She has also lectured in Career Services since 2013. Previously, she served as professional development/human rights and labor consultant for the Michigan Education Association. She has also worked as a teacher and consultant for Grand Rapids Public Schools, counselor for Grand Rapids Community College and Grand Valley State University, and admissions officer for the University of Michigan. Dr. Keway serves as a Commissioner for Indian Child Welfare for her tribe, the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians. In 2011, she was the recipient of the Michigan Indian Education Council’s Distinguished Service Award.

Brigid Avery hails from the east side of Michigan but fell in love with Grand Rapids while attending Aquinas College.  After graduating, she worked in Admissions, recruiting future Saints from Detroit and Grand Rapids public schools. She then pursued a Masters Degree in Higher Education Leadership at the University of San Diego while serving as the Development Officer for the High Tech High Foundation, supporting a group of revolutionary charter schools that served a diverse student population. Four years later she returned to Michigan and after serving as the Alumni Director for 9 years, Brigid now serves as the Associate Director of Career Services and Internship Director.
