Host: Cindy Kamp
Cindy Kamp is the host and creator of Your True North radio show and podcast. She has worked in the Illinois Governor’s Office, on Capitol Hill, and at the State Department where she served overseas as a Foreign Service Officer. She currently has a day job in the healthcare industry, and she is an occasional host for Catalyst Radio on WYCE in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Kamp has a Master of Theological Studies degree from Harvard Divinity School and a Bachelor of Arts from Calvin College. She also works as an adjunct professor and teaches classes in Community Leadership, Comparative Religion, and Political Science.
She is married to John Kerlin and they have two sons. She recently gave up urban life in Chicago for a more rural locale near Grand Rapids, Michigan. In her free time, she enjoys watching cows, frogs, and an energetic blue heeler.
Producer: Sean O’Melia
Sean O’Melia graduated from Florida International University with a Masters Degree in Higher Education Administration. In 2017, O’Melia graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Degree in Broadcasting and a minor in Public Relations & Advertising. He is originally from Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan.
O’Melia has worked in a variety of different Television settings. He has been a Production Assistant at WGVU since April 2015 and been an Intern and Sports Stringer at WOOD TV 8.
O’Melia currently works at Ball State University as a Residence Hall Director.
In his free time, he enjoys taking photos, watching sports, and spending quality time with his friends and family.

Cassie Betten attended Calvin College in West Michigan and volunteered with community radio station 88.1FM WYCE during undergrad in 2011. Through her experience in independent public radio, Cassie was offered an entry-level position with iHeartMedia West Michigan. After several years working in commercial radio, her listener-supported station WYCE provided the opportunity of Managing Programming full time in 2017.
Cassie is the producer and editor of WYCE’s Public Affairs program Catalyst Radio.In her spare time, she devotes volunteer hours to independent record label dizzybird records that distributes on both a national and local level.

Sonja Jobson is the owner of Jobson Studios, a marketing & branding agency based in Grand Rapids. She works with small businesses to clarify their marketing message, style their brand, and connect with more of their ideal customers.
